Wired Broadband Internet is delivered through two different mediums (T1 and Frame Relay)
RNi has launched an open source standards based MAN (Metropolitan Area Netowrk) in order to
service its customers in a affordable, flexible, and scalable way. The network is capable of
providing customers with a wide range of wired connectivity solutions, as well as wireless
solutions. See the RNi Wireless section for details. The savings and efficiencies gained by
deploying a standards based and open source network has allowed RNi to offer last mile
connectivity at price/performance combinations that were previously unheard of. Each
PRIORITYIPsm tier is guaranteed three ways.
1) CIR (Committed Information Rate). This is the rate of bandwidth you will get at all times guaranteed.
2) Uptime. This is the percentage of time your circuit will be up and running in a given month.
3) Latency. This is the maximum latency guarantee measured over a given month.
You will find these guarantees in the RNi SLA (Service Level Agreement).
