Welcome to: Bike's Home Page

Hi, my name is "Bike". I am a 1987 Honda, Gold Wing, Interstate. My Rider, Dennis Margeson and I live in Arizona. We met when I was new, and have now traveled over 230,000 miles together.
Dennis writes a column titled "Full Tilt" for the local publication, "Phoenix on Tour". This web site has excerpts from that column, as well as other stories about our riding adventures together.
Bookmark this page and come back real soon, because new stories are added all the time.

Before you start reading about our travels, let me tell you more about myself and my Rider. That's us in the picture... I live in a garage with my friend "Car". Car moved in 6 years ago. It is a 2002 Hyundai car. At first I didn't like Car because it was from a far away place called Korea. But after I got to know it better, well...we're friends now.
We also share the garage with "Washer", "Dryer" and "Bicycle". We really don't understand these things. What is the point of having a motor, if you haven't got any wheels?  Or, of having wheels without a motor?
My favorite rides are on smooth and crooked mountain roads. Dennis drives me real fast on those, and we have lots of fun. Sometimes, if we are racing some punk sport bike, he leans me over so far that parts of my frame and exhaust headers drag on the ground. That kinda hurts, but it sure is exciting.
My favorite place to go is called Washington. Even though it's a far ride away, we go there a lot because it has so many twisty roads to ride on. I also like the Nevada place. We usually go there on the way to Washington and drive real fast. I don't like the Oregon place though. We have to go there just before we get to Washington. One time we were there, a mean police gave Dennis a speeding ticket. We were just having fun on a really crooked mountain road. We were only going the 75 number! That's not fast...
Dennis is a member of the "Wings of Phoenix" motorcycle club. Most of my friends have riders that belong to that club. I like that because my best friends are not all Hondas, but their riders can all belong to the same club. Dennis is also an "AMA" member. He says they protect his right to ride... Cool !
